Meet Taylor

It’s important for me to connect with my clients, and vise versa! Being comfortable with your photographer is crucial in order to create the most natural images and enjoy yourself while doing so.

Although this is my first personal blog post, I hope you keep checking back for more on my crazy, beautiful life!

So, my name is Taylor Walker and I currently reside in College Station, TX while I pursue my degree in Agricultural Communications & Journalism from Texas A&M University. WHOOP!

I am originally from Spring Branch, TX, which is right outside of San Antonio. Growing up I was constantly busy! I showed hogs nation wide, was heavily involved in FFA, am still an avid offshore fisher woman and was always exploring my passion of photography.

After high school graduation, I attended Blinn Junior College where I competed on the Livestock Judging Team and met some of the greatest people in the industry!

Some things I absolutely love include:

A livestock show! In this industry is where I grew up, found myself, made some of the best friends and I have a lifetime passion for. This photo was taken at The American Royal in Kansas City in 2014. I wouldn’t trade my love of this industry for anything!

The deep blue sea! I spent my summers growing up in Port Aransas, TX. When I was little I used to bay fish with my dad often, however, it wasn’t until he took me offshore fishing at the age of eight when I truly fell in love. This picture was taken in Costa Rica where we caught several sail fish 100 lb.+

To travel! Whether it’s across the country for a stock show, a quick weekend get away or a vacation, I absolutely love to see new places and try new things. This picture was taken on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas.

A good cow picture! I didn’t grow up around cattle. After meeting my man however, I quickly fell in love. There is nothing quite as beautiful as the perfect cattle picture. This picture was taken in Bartlesville, Oklahoma when I was picturing for the Maternal Option Female Sale.

Jonathan Gevelinger! We met 4th of July in 2013 and my life has forever been changed. He is truly the most perfect man. This picture was taken at his cattle sale in Perkins, OK.
